The Digital Innovation Laboratory for Business and Learning Serving Regional Competitiveness (LINEACT) brings together the research activities within CESI, which focus on 2 unifying scientific themes: “Learning and innovation” and “Engineering and Digital tools”.

The Engineering and Digital tools team is involved in this project. The work focuses on the development of research in the fields of modelling, simulation and optimisation of systems and associated data analysis. Research is also carried out into the development of decision-making support tools and into virtual and augmented environments.

The LINEACT laboratory’s research is developed as part of the work-packages T1 and T4 on the cloud system and the tool for analysis of the visitor experience. The work focuses on the development of digital tools, models and data analysis solutions related to the visitor experience. The laboratory is involved in the development of the architecture of the cloud system, the collection and data analysis tools and the experiments at the cultural sites.
