The UoE is the lead partner in the VISTA AR project. It contributes expertise in Business Model Innovation, text-analytics, customer intelligence, tourism management and economic impact, project management. It is responsible for implementation at deployment sites in the UK. The UoE has experience of managing large projects (including Interreg) and has extensive experience of communicating and publishing research outcomes, and organising events.
The University houses the project’s lead academic, Professor Andi Smart, the project manager, Laura Dixon, the project coordinator, Florence Menu, Dr Laura Phillips who is leading the Visitor Experience data collection, Dr Pikakshi Manchanda (Text Analytics), Dr David Ross (Business Model Innovation), Cristina Mosconi (narration and interpretation at UK deployment sites), Pofessor Fabrizio Nevola (narration and visitor pathway at Exeter Cathedral) and Professor Tim Coles (baseline data at Exeter Cathedral).
